Gabrielle Cole is a Jamaican-Canadian writer residing in Montreal. She holds a B.A. in English literature from McGill University, and is currently pursuing her M.A. in Creative Writing at Concordia University.In 2023, she was selected as the recipient of the 2023 QWF x carte blanche Fresh Pages Editorial Mentorship, and was mentored by Liana Cusmano. In her spare time, she is the comics editor at carte blanche magazine, co-editor of chouette magazine, and a juror and assistant coordinator at Twelve Vacancies Film Festival. Her two great loves are J.D. Salinger and cosmopolitans.
